Join us On September 21st, when film maker Hilary Morgan will be screening and discussing the her film "Tower of Dreams," a documentary that explores the life and legacy of her grandmother, Christiana Morgan (1897–1967)

As a pioneering psychoanalyst and artist, Morgan left a significant mark on modern psychology. Filmmaker Hilary Morgan will be delving into her grandmother's groundbreaking journey as an early feminist who, while exploring her own unconscious, became an extraordinary influence in the advancement of Jungian psychology.

Christiana Morgan’s artistic expressions, including illustrated manuscripts, intricate wood carvings, and her unique stone tower retreat, serve as windows into her inner world.

Her deep and transformative work with Carl Jung, where she became his most studied patient, contributed to some of his key theories on women's psychology. Later, as a Harvard psychoanalyst and researcher, Morgan continued to push the boundaries of analytic psychology, especially in understanding the feminine psyche.

"Tower of Dreams" showcases Morgan's fearless dive into her unconscious, uncovering a powerful feminine voice and pioneering new perspectives in analytic psychology. Join us for a documentary film and discussion about this remarkable woman's impact on psychology and art.
